Heh, not all of 'em are. Besides, I've seen Wobbit beat Aaron before. Aaron is definatly the more computer nerdish of the two.

You can join maybe if one of the other players doesn't show up for a match. Or you can get into our next tournament, whatever it will be...
You can always contact someone for a non-tournament game, for fun. |

Darkness.. I guess i am up against you next..
One thing i think makes this very easy instead of setting up a time is like i said before get a chat client.. it is much easier to just ask someone when they are online, and grab them then for a 15 minute game or so.. If you ask me that should be a rule.. get a chat client.. AIM or Trillian would probably be best.. I dont know my timezones.. If someone told me to be somewhere at some time zone time .. i would be like "oh jesus" and i would be late if i even showed up that day.. LoL..
Edit..
You know as i thought more about it i came to the realization that Qhimm.. either you underestimated your talent.. or you overestimated your opponents.. Aaron from what i understood is a good player.. If you beat him then hmm.. perhaps you are better than you thought.. |

I think everyone already has a chat client.
The problem comes when they say "I'll be online from such-a-time to such-a-time, we can play then" and then they never come online during said time.
If the person is online often, then it shouldn't be a problem, but some people aren't online very often so a pre-arranged time is needed.
Congrats to Darkness and FFTactic_Boy... I updated the site

BTW if you make it to the semifinals, you can have your picture displayed in the bracket if you want. Or you can use an avatar, but so far we've had people used pictures. Well, whatever you want, just tell me when you get there. |

Mirex told me he would be online to play from 20:00 to 3:00 GMT till whenever. I sent him numerous messages on ICQ and he responded once asking if I was a good chess player. He still hasn't gotten on, and now the weekend has passed. Almost everybody has played their first round opponents, and Nori already has moved on to the Semi-Finals! I believe this is unfair of the three groups left whose opponent tells us a time to be online and then he or she doesn't show up. I saw the rule about three strikes and your out but I mean, if they never get on, that could take a really long time to finally play out... Don't ya think? I'm sure if this has happened to other people, they are equally as T.Oed. Im done for now.

Hmmm... Once again, I got stood up. Sunday passed, 3:00 GMT (9:00 CDT) So their's day two. Nori says that he might be on at 7:00 am CDT tomorrow, but that's kinda hard to agree to play during, cuz that's when I wake up and eat breakfast because I have class. This is getting silly now. Hmmmm.. I dunno. Lemme know if any of you have any suggestions on what i should do. Thanks!

| Darkness.. You just kinda made a mistake in the opening.. and it threw the game after that.. it happens.. If i beat nori thats how it will happen.. LoL She would HAVE to make a mistae for me to beat her.. I have made countless mistakes.. and usually thats how i lose the game.. i miscalculate and move something after looking for awhile.. If people didnt do that then everyone would be a chess master.. |
