you know i think this is the longest running thread on this board we have had for awhile now.. things elsewhere have really calmed.. you dont see as many threads anymore.. it always seems to get quiet around this time i think.. then it picks back up.. LoL like the annual valentines day thread.. i guess we'll have to wait and see..

Hey i like any 3D shooter except Counter Strike ... i prefer Quake 1 ... this looks like another tourney, for quick hands, eyes, reflexes (and connection) this time.

Why don't you like Counterstrike Mirex? It's a perfectly legit game. It's my favorite fps. Anyways, i think as another contest we should all visit Aaron's benchmarks page.

All of those are way outdated. (For instance, I have gotten a new computer since those scores and ran the benchmarks again) We could see who has the best video card, processor, and so on.... Go to Aaron's downloads page (I think) to download the 3dmark and pcmark programs to test with. Then just test on the default resoultion. Take a screen shot of your scores and send to Aaron. That way we can get an idea of how good everyone's computer is.

I will see if i cant get a hold of a copy of SOF.. then i will join you all. but i have never played that one.. i was always more of a half life player..
